The Big Easy Ranch wetlands area is on 200 acres with an 18-acre rice and crawfish pond for the release of mallard ducks. The Big Easy hunting ground is awesome for either wild or flighted mallards and the view from the overlook onto the pond and hunting area is truly spectacular.
It’s strictly decoy hunting over the 20-acre pond for optimum close-in shooting and the Big Easy allows unlimited ducks to be harvested. Beginning in October, you can start your duck-hunting season early with some premier flighted mallard hunts and extend it into the spring.
When the weather cools off and the migration starts, the Big Easy duck habitat brings in a multitude of wild ducks in a variety of species. With a big area to hunt, the Big Easy provides five different blind locations for the different weather patterns. The first-class blinds are heated, lit and buried for ultimate comfort.
A hunt for four usually lasts a half day, with morning and afternoon hunts and includes warm-up clay shooting. Flighted duck hunts are available for up 16 hunters at once.
Each and every hunt includes experienced one-on-one guides with professionally trained labs to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. So camo up and get ready to experience duck hunting like nowhere else in the country.
